It may be the very reason you wanted to avoid Ibiza in the first place, but Pacha is an undeniable part of island life from the flagship of their global dance empire just outside of the island capital. But for those that can't imagine hitting the 2am dance floor, Pacha Restaurante is a grown-up dining alternative that's far more impressive than your everyday supper club. Located within the main club compound, the restaurant complex is divided between a main dining room with sushi lounge and large outdoor terrace. The all-white design of the main dining room is more minimalist than designer with simple white tables and chairs facing a wall of retractable glass that contains the outdoor terrace lined in stiletto tiles under a canopy of mature palm trees. The sushi lounge, however, is the real star attraction with Balinese theme and crunchy arrangement of reclaimed tabletops.
The Food
Divided between a main dining room with Mediterranean menu and sushi lounge offering mostly chef creations of sashimi and sushi specialties, the year-round restaurant offers a more-muted alternative to the seasonal all-night dance party of Pacha. Appetizers of avocado tartare with lime prawns, seafood salad and shrimp tempura are well presented and equally well cooked. Main dishes include impressive seafood options like turbot with truffle oil and duck confit with port reduction that’s heartier than expected prior to a night of 4am dancing. The sushi selections are best ordered with a good dose of salmon sashimi followed by spider cut roll and baked crab dishes that are as good as any sushi spot you’d find on the mainland.
